Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Certified Diabetes Educator
Virtual Nutrition Coach

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator with a master’s degree in Nutrition Science. I’ve spent the last 10 years helping people improve their health through 1:1 nutrition coaching, teaching group classes, working as a clinical dietitian in hospitals and dialysis units, and managing insulin pumps for people with diabetes.

I’ve worked with hundreds of different types of clients and realized that no matter what the issue, all of my clients struggled with these same underlying issues: they feel like they needed to try every diet out there to try to lose weight, they feel out of control around food/emotional eating, food cravings/bingeing, feel defeated for not following a diet long-term, feel frustrated and confused about the information they find on the internet, etc. etc. —- And none of these things are their fault!

Diet culture makes you feel like you have to restrict in some way in order to be healthy…and that’s absolutely not true.

I started my private practice so I could teach people how to be healthy without ever dieting again. Without feeling like their self-worth is tied to the scale or what they look like.

Whether you’ve been struggling with your weight, blood sugars, kidney disease, stomach issues, or managing symptoms of ADHD and mental health, my passion is to show you how to eat in a way that nourishes your body and avoids restriction as much as possible through intuitive eating.

Intuitive eating helps you figure out the ‘why’…..what’s driving your urges to binge, over-restrict, or be stuck in the diet cycle? These are all short term solutions that can make your health even worse.

Intuitive eating shifts your mindset to allows you to reconnect with your internal body cues, uses gentle nutrition to learn how to eat balanced meals to prevent overeating and bingeing, and will help improve every area of your life.

Why hire a nutrition coach?

Over the years I’ve seen the same patterns from people struggling to manage their weight or medical condition. Most people are either overwhelmed with misinformation and don’t know where to start, feeling stuck/helpless, or frustrated because no matter how hard they try, they just can’t seem to see results or stick to their plans. Often times these same people have been over-restricting their food intake for years, contributing to nutritional deficiencies & an unhealthy relationship with food and with their bodies.

Many people know how to eat healthy but there’s something holding them back…..there’s a gap between knowing the information and applying it. That’s how nutrition coaching is different from nutrition counseling. Nutrition counseling is great and can give you the tools you need to get started and learn what you need to do to be healthy. Coaching not only gives you the education needed to make healthy decisions, but it identifies the barriers holding you back from reaching your goals.

Most people need a plan that’s not only customized to their specific needs but also provides accountability to stay on track. That’s why I created my own nutrition program that focuses on mindset to help dig deeper and see what’s really holding you back from long-term success. I coach you throughout their entire transformation until you feel comfortable doing it on your own.

My Philosophy

My range of experiences has allowed me to work with so many different types of people with unique needs. It’s shown me how each person responds to food differently and needs a personalized plan to truly be successful. I will never give you quick fixes or trendy diets to follow! Everything I recommend is evidence-based & works in real life.

My passion is to educate and provide my clients with the skills they need to make sustainable and practical, lifelong changes. I believe that nutrition is the most important factor in preventing and treating most diseases and want to help you live a long and happy life!

I am here to support you by helping you understand which foods, exercise, & supplements work best for YOUR body. We will work together to create the best lifestyle plan to make healthy eating easier for you, reduce your stress, and allow you to have a healthy relationship with food.

If you’re ready to live a healthier life, I’m here to support you and coach you each step of the way. Work with me to become your best healthy self!
